It also had the only children friendly outdoor pub that I know of in the town. Unfortunately it is not in the centre of town and has not got the pedestrian flow of say Eastbourne or brighton piers. This could be addressed to some extent by extending the mini railway down the promenade so that it terminates at the pier and thereby connects the holiday traffic in the Old Town as well as the town centre.
